Cement types produced in IRAN
Portland cement (Type 1):
The cement is used where no particular property, as in other kinds of cement, is considered.
Portland cement (Type 2):
It is used in general cases, and also III specific conditions where a mean hydro-temperature is considered.
Portland cement (Type 3):
Used in the cases where high strength in a short time is intended.
Portland cement (Type 5):
It is used in conditions where much strength is intended against sulphats.
White portland cement:
Used on surface of buildings, also where colorless cement is used in the production of different color cements with high strength are needed.
Slag portland cement:
It is used where average strength considered against sulphates or mean hydro-temperature.
Pozolanic portland cement:
Used in ordinary concrete constructions, and more frequently, in the cases where an average strength is considered against sulphates and mean hydro-temprature.
Lime Portland Cement:
This kind of cement maybe used in preparation of mortar, and concrete of all the cases where portland cement type 1 is used and it improves the cement resistance against frost, defrost, ice generating salts, and chemical parameters.
Masonry Cement (Construction Cement):
To be used when masonry mortar with a strength less than portland cement type 1 is needed.
Refractory Cement 450:
The cement, containing over 40% of AL203, with hydroxylation connection and calcium aluminates phases for used as a refractory material in heating industries.
Refractory Cement 500:
Containing over 70% of AL203, with hydroxylation connection and CH2 and CA phases for used in heating industries and CO and H2 atmospheres, as a high purity refractory material.
Refractory Cement 550:
Containing over 80% of AL203 with hydroxylation connection and calcium aluminates as main compound, having high refractory and thermodynamic properties, for special applications , such as hydrogen reviving atmospheres.
Oil-well Cement:
The cement is used for seaming of oil wells. Most of these kinds of cements are long-setting, being resistant against high pressures. The cement may be used in water and sewage wells, too.
Water-proof Portland Cement:
The cement is produced in white and gray colors. This kind of cement decreases water transfer, under negligible, or non-pressure, but it does not prevent water transfer.
Cement in Regulated Settings:
This kind of cement is controlled and manufactured in a way that it can produce concretes with setting times from a few minutes up to one hour.
Colorful Cement:
These cements mostly serve for decoration, and used in cement facades, and production of concrete with outward appearance.
